The name conceals a special story: Until 1938, Veur was an independent municipality in the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland, but is now part of the municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg. This old “hidden” municipality is full of special pieces of history which you can encounter in the proximity of Het Veur Theater.
