Go back in time at Huygens’ Swaensteyn
Huygens’ Swaensteyn is home to history, arts and culture from Voorburg and Leidschendam. The museum is housed in the Notarishuis on the Herenstraat, one of the oldest buildings in Voorburg’s Huygenskwartier. The museum presents several temporary exhibitions every year.
At Huygens’ Swaensteyn, there’s also a special section about the Romans and Forum Hadriani and the remarkable life of princess Marianne. At the museum, you’ll learn that the history of Leidschendam-Voorburg is very long and equally as interesting! The museum really provides a fun day out for children (and parents) with a passion for history!
