Come and swim at Zwembad De Fluit
Enjoy swimming with your family, your friends or just solo at Zwembad De Fluit. For years, the pool has been a real household name in the region! In the Olympic-size swimming pool, you can swim lengths, practise with the kids or play in the water. The paddling pool is designed for the youngest children. There is permanent water playground equipment available, and the temperature of the water is kept at 32 degrees Celsius. Both children and adults can really enjoy themselves here!
There are many more facilities too, like a restaurant and a cafe. Here you can enjoy something to eat after swimming. The swimming pool is also specialised in events and meetings. There are special rooms for this equipped with all the necessary equipment! So, there’s something for everyone at Zwembad De Fluit!

Houtzaagmolen de Salamander
De Salamander is a typical Dutch sawmill, located in Leidschendam. The mill was rebuilt in 1778. A steam engine was installed so that sawing could continue in windless conditions, a technique which was quite new in those days.
Vogelplas Starrevaart
Vogelplas Starrevaart is located southwest of the Vlietland recreation area. This is a particularly attractive area for the many birds that visit the lake looking for food, and a place to nest and rest. So, the ideal spot for birdwatchers!
